Saroj Patel | facebook

Some of Saroj Patel's illustrations and sketches have a graphic quality, solid black shapes and bold lines, depictions of animals and nature, and others possess fluid movement, varying line-weight and, in addition to animals and nature, have subject matter that is conceptual or abstract.

Saroj's paintings are reminiscent of Japanese woodblock prints and Japanese scrolls. Similar to the art of Japan and perhaps also the art of India and Persia, Saroj's paintings are elegant, rich in color, filled with mesmerizing patterns and great detail.

Saroj Patel's interpretation of the world around us is both alluring and beautiful.
